About us

We’re a group of hair stylist, spa directors, salon and spa owners with a strong desire to do our part in helping the salon and spa industry become more green and eco friendly. One day over some vino, we decided it was time to assist the beauty industry become more aware and conscious of the damage it’s doing to the planet.
Many brainstorming sessions were conducted and in a short time, a blue print and an outline of the content was created. Researching spanning the globe for the most adaptable data and practical initiative’s followed, and while a daunting task at first, the team rose to the occasion after some 9 months, (irony right!), and in August 2009 the first draft surfaced. After considerable effort, cross-referencing and having the data verified by experts in this field, the first manual was ready for release in January 2010.
